Give your child a summer to remember
Since 1981, our summer camp program has been intended for the child who likes everything from art, sports, board games, reading, and the outdoors. We offer enrichment workshops and special activities. Your child will have all this in a beautiful park-like setting.
A small portion of the day focuses on academics to reinforce the previous year’s learning with the use of math minutes, a reading incentive program, and writing journals. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a balance of structured and unstructured play during the summer. You will find both at Discovery Corner.
Walk into Discovery Corner and you’ll see classrooms of children engaged in activities. Each day your child has many choices both indoors and out in our multicultural camp. Summer campers enjoy seeing their friends from previous years. Many lifelong friendships have been formed at Discovery Corner.
