“We loved our time at Discovery Corner! Loretta, the director, is phenomenal with children and she selected an equally skilled staff. It’s never easy leaving your child in the care of someone else but at DCA I never had any worries. Any time my daughter had a hard time at drop off, Loretta or Miss Erika was right there to give her a hug and make sure she felt comforted. On the academic side, my daughter was beyond ready for Kindergarten. The curriculum is a good mixture of learning through play and workbooks. Plenty of time to rest, play, and learn!! I would highly recommend DCA to anyone looking for a school and/or daycare!!!”

“My son has been going to Discovery for the past 3 months and we love it! Ms. Loretta and her staff are very warm and caring. My son was enrolled in a different program for a few months and we were so disappointed that the teachers were just babysitters. At Discovery, the teachers take a personal interest in the growth and development of your child. They have a good mix of academics, play, and learning activities. Their schedule is flexible and they are open all year round which is great for working parents. I highly recommend Discovery to anyone looking for childcare. “I can’t say enough good things about DCA. My daughter attended from age 3 – 5 and she really discovered herself, grew, and learned SO much from the team here. They are so warm, and welcoming, and tailor their instruction to the needs of each child. My daughter was part of the Kindergarten program and learned to read at 4 years old! Highly recommend DCA over other daycare centers. I wish we knew about them with my older children, but feel lucky we found them for our youngest.”

My kids loved attending and would run to the door each day. It’s very rare to find a preschool whose teachers genuinely love being there, are always happy and smiling, and isn’t a revolving door. Most of the staff has been there for years- which says a lot. The director is unmatched. She treats each child as her own and bends over backward to accommodate each family’s needs. We loved our experience there and can’t wait to return for summer!”

We left our previous daycare for a number of reasons, but how they worked through the pandemic was the final straw. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Loretta and the staff at Discovery. Loretta managed through an incredibly stressful time with care and compassion. Her staff has very little turnover, which is so telling of a great employer.
